Weekend of May 21-22
This last weekend was Jeremy's Birthday, so we celebrated with a barbeque at Steve's and then continued to throw down at the Legwarmers show at the State Theater. Despite drinking Absinthe and numerous other things, Jeremy was OK to do some recording on the new ablum with Todd Harris. So far, it looks like we have 10 rhythm tracks complete, and yesterday, we put horn tracks on 4 of those songs. With this new project, we got Todd Harris to record it for almost nothing, so we don't have to pay $100 an hour for studio time. The end result of that, however, is that we are taking our time with this one, and it could be a while before it's in stores. Anyways, thats the news from this weekend, stay tuned for reports on the Five Maseratis show in NYC on Saturday May 28th at the Ace of Clubs.

is it going to be obnoxious if i comment? i'm not sure if it is but i just want to say the pietasters sucked at HFStival. but that's only cuz you played like 5 songs and hardly anyone was dancing and... yeah. and somehow, even though i started the dancing pit myself, i got a nice head to my forehead and a healthy lump. small price to pay for you guys. i hope the ottobar went better. sorry i couldn't make it. keep on keepin on and remember that baltimore is the best place to play. and DC is second best. and you should play in these places just about every weekend.

It should be noted that her name is INSAMY. That probably explains why she didn't post this on the message board, in the WHFs Festival thread, or even the ottobar thread.

correct me if im wrong, but i think that was the show in New Haven when I slept through the band coming through baltimore to pick me up, and had to take a train. Sometimes there's never enough sleep.

close... a week before that at the webster, and you are right, there can never be enough sleep. i wish i could go back to sleep riiiiight now :)
